Community Services in Midland, Texas
Freewill Advocates of Midland, Inc., is a nonprofit corporation with a mission to provide assistance and advocacy for the well-being of individuals and families.
We are blessed to assist families with groceries, clothing, household and personal items. We celebrate the joy of reading by providing books and other media to children. We advocate by utilizing our social media channels to speak on behalf of those who need assistance.
Our goal is to inspire citizens to get involved by volunteering in their communities and contributing financial gifts. We also inform the public about valuable resources available in Midland that they may not be aware of.
Through a collaborative effort of United Way of Midland, 2-1-1 Texas Permian Basin Information and Referral Services, and Texas Health and Human Services Commission, a Directory of Community Services was compiled that includes a listing of services; from adult day care to speech and hearing resources. The directory is sorted by service category and includes agencies with their contact information.
